I am originally from Clinton, MN and graduated from Clinton-Graceville High School.  I graduated from Concordia College in Moorhead, MN in 2000 with a B.A. degree in elementary education and coaching certification.  I received my masters degree in educational leadership from Mankato State University in 2008.  In 2013 I received my technology integration certificate from St. Cloud State to enhance my interest in STEM education.  In 2020, I completed my Ed. S. in Leadership in Administrative Licensure from Mankato State University in 2020.

I am passionate about kids and learning.  My greatest joy at CGB elementary is greeting and visiting with as many students as possible each day.  We have wonderful kids and outstanding teachers and staff.  I greatly enjoy serving students and families each and every day.

My wife teaches third grade at CGB Elementary School.  My daughter Annika is 11 years old and my son Jensen is 9 years old.  Away from school I keep quite busy with many things.  I enjoy spending time with family, traveling, camping, golfing, coaching, church activities, working on projects, and spending time outdoors.
